Surah Al-Kawthar is the shortest in the Qur'an, yet rich in meaning. It was revealed to console the Prophet ﷺ after insults and hardships. Allah promises him Al-Kawthar, a river in Paradise, and instructs him to pray and sacrifice only for Allah. The enemies of the Prophet, who mocked him, will be forgotten and cut off.
Divine favor surpasses all worldly losses. Faith, prayer, and sacrifice are the path to abundance.
Reciting it brings comfort in distress, increases barakah, and is associated with blessings in sustenance. It's also recited to invoke mercy and honor during hardship.
108:1 – 'Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], Al-Kawthar.'
Trust in divine reward even when faced with mockery or loss.
