Surah Al-Ma'un exposes the hypocrisy of those who show off in prayer but neglect orphans and refuse small acts of kindness. It addresses both social and spiritual neglect and teaches that true faith is demonstrated through action and compassion. Empty rituals without moral character and charity are condemned.
Worship without sincerity or social compassion is rejected. True faith manifests in kindness and humility.
This Surah teaches us to care for the vulnerable, serve humanity, and avoid hypocrisy. It’s a reminder that even small good deeds are valuable in Islam.
107:4–7 – 'So woe to those who pray but are heedless of their prayer... and withhold small kindnesses.'
Combine devotion with social concern. Deeds, not appearances, define faith.
